I wouldn't call me a fashionista, not even close. However broke? Quite. I have some plans in my future which will create me to be that broke fashionista who dreams of all the beautiful clothes she could acquire. Especially, it is not easy lurking through lookbook.nu and seeing all the beautiful girls with the beautiful clothes that you can only imagine of affording. However, some of those girls/boys find some nice finds for cheap. My hat goes off to them. My goal through this blog is to grow as a fashion student and a fashion society member. After all, I am a fashion merchandiser studying also in journalism major. I hope to graduate with a high knowledge of the fashion industry and a beautiful constructed writing skill. I would love to work in the magazine. I believe there is much room for change/revolution in the magazines. I would not mind working for a not-so-well-known fashion magazine either. I am not picky, plus I believe it would be beautiful to work an "underground" magazine and let it grow to the top. I just want to write, report, and make of change in the advertising of fashion. One day all my dreams will come true. One day I will be living high up in that NYC apartment picking out my outfit for the next work day living with a man who cooks yummy coffee-brownies for me. However, until then I shall write my journey through this box. Through out my journey, I hope to grow as a fashion journey and try to shop on a budget (HA! no, really I'm going to try this- ha). I have my few rare diamonds in my wardrobe that I keep very close to me like my Lita's but other than that...I'm a pretty broke fashion whore (and whore is only added because The broke fashionista is taken therefore there was changes) well at least it gives the name some embellishment! So, let's move on with this journey!
